As a content creator from Thodupuzha and Pala, I am always looking for opportunities to highlight stories that matter to the community. Recently, I had the privilege of being part of the inauguration of Green Shop’s new outlet in Thodupuzha – and the video I created for this special occasion has now crossed 1.1 million views in just a short span of time.

A Special Inauguration Moment

Green Shop is already a well-known name in Kerala, with outlets in several places, but this was their first-ever outlet in Thodupuzha. The inauguration event was graced by notable personalities, including the District Collector of Idukki, along with well-known creators like Pramodh Thodupuzha and Dini Eldo. Being able to join them and represent the voice of local creators made the occasion truly memorable for me.

More Than Just a Shop

This wasn’t a commercial advertisement. Instead, I wanted to make a narrative appreciation video to showcase the values that make Green Shop different. Their commitment to society is inspiring – they have completely avoided plastic carry bags and packaging, choosing eco-friendly alternatives instead. This initiative is already proving successful and has been warmly welcomed by customers.

Moreover, all the products at Green Shop are organic and preservative-free, offering people a healthier lifestyle choice while also caring for the environment. For me, this was a story worth telling, not just as an influencer but also as a resident of this community.

The response was beyond my expectations – the video reached 1.1 million views, sparking conversations about sustainable shopping practices in Idukki. As a creative content creator in Idukki, moments like these remind me of the power of storytelling and how digital platforms can amplify positive change.

I live at an equal distance from both Pala and Thodupuzha, two towns that have shaped my journey as a content creator. Being able to cover an initiative like Green Shop’s launch in Thodupuzha feels like giving back to the very community I grew up in.
